CES

CES 2011 Recap

After a whirlwind weekend of electronic nerdophilia, I’m back in the land of normal sized TVs and stable internet connections to share my thoughts on the connected TVs, Tablet, and Interfaces I encountered at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.

While I would have loved to have posted my thoughts earlier, apparently packing 140,000 technophiles into an area doesn’t do wonders for the local internet service. 3 Things I’m Looking For at CES 2011

The Consumer Electronics Show, also known as the world’s largest trade-show, is January 6-9th in Las Vegas, NV. I’ve followed CES closely for as long as I can remember but this year will be different… this year I’ll be attending. Please excuse me while I explode with excitement.

Product marketing goes hand in hand with media consumption. Marketing at the core is about getting people to do things. As the way we consume media changes, the way companies market to them changes as well. I’m looking for interesting ways companies are marketing their products at CES as well as how these products will affect the way we market down the line. We’re inching towards Minority Report territory and I’m looking for ways marketing gets folded into the way we live our lives, specifically in our social channels.

Without further ado, here’s the three major trends I’m looking for at CES:
