Infuz welcomes Allison Garriga

Allison GarrigaHelp us welcome Allison Garriga to our team.

Allison’s first day was tricky: No one could figure out if her first name had one or two Ls, which is really only important for emails, business cards and paychecks. Turns out, it wasn’t a problem unique to us. Allison said she spent most of her life spelling her name with one L, only to discover that it officially should’ve had two. So we’re sticking with two now, OK?

Allison is a social media manager, with a background in “a lot of really random online/social media and project management projects.” We’re already putting all of that experience to good use.

She grew up in St. Louis, and recently returned to our fair city from Los Angeles. She’s seen Vanilla Ice in concert, loves to travel and, with two young children, doesn’t get enough sleep. Allison has a degree in advertising from Drake University. And if she could be any animal, she’d pick a camel: “They have such personality.”

Infuz welcomes Tom Wiley

Tom Wiley Help us welcome Tom Wiley to our team.

A digital brand strategist, Tom helps us develop and execute digital marketing programs. (We’ve kept him very busy.) So far, Tom says his favorite thing about his job is the endless supply of Diet Dr Pepper. It’s true; we like our employees caffeinated.

Tom’s a St. Louis native, with a degree in graphic design from Loyola University New Orleans. He says he can open a wine bottle with his shoe, but we haven’t yet had a chance to test this skill. He likes cheese and enjoys “zoning out with a good book.” Tom also likes to swim, bike and run — when he’s not training for triathlons, he can be found playing LEGO video games with his 5-year-old son and chasing his 2-year-old daughter around the house. Now hiring: Associate creative director

INFUZ is seeking a highly creative, passionate and talented associate creative director who can concept, develop and execute truly innovative digital experiences. The ideal candidate has killer design chops in all avenues of digital media — web, mobile, apps, social. A deep understanding of brand strategy is also a must, as well as the wisdom to know that a great concept has little value if it doesn’t meet the goals of the campaign.

As the associate creative director, you will be both hands-on and high-level, developing brand strategy, creating concepts and designs that gets everyone excited. You will work closely with our account and production teams on multiple projects and collaborate across disciplines in our cross-functional environment. In other words, you have to wear a few different hats and play nice with others.

You have to be cool and confident in a room full of picky clients and be able to sell our ideas to them. One of the reasons our clients keep coming back to us is that we understand their needs, we’re fun to work with and we always deliver. As one of our star players, you have to deliver on that promise.

We’re looking for someone who is smart, creative, fun, imaginative and so plugged into the digital space that you could be a hologram. Why? It’s in our DNA. INFUZ is almost entirely digital and born from technology over 12 years ago. In that time we have developed a knack for storytelling and always asking “why.” This is an opportunity for the right person to come on board with a close-knit team of the best in the business and make a difference for our agency and our clients.

If this sounds like you, then reach out to us and tell us a great story. That’s what it’s all about, and we’re listening.

Infuz welcomes Jamal McLaughlin

Help us welcome Jamal McLaughlin (back) to our team.

As a project manager, Jamal helps keep everyone on task and make sure things run on schedule, and that’s not always easy. Jamal started as an interactive developer/designer here in 2010. He left in March 2012, but, lucky for us, has come back in a new role.

Jamal dotes on his daughter, has shared the stage with Martin Short, dislikes Sandra Bullock movies, and has an affinity for The Beatles and cupcakes. In fact, Jamal said his ideal superpower would be the ability to “shove entire cupcakes in my mouth in a single bite.” And then to be able to make more cupcakes, of course.

Jamal has a bachelor of fine arts in studio art/painting from Southern Illinois University. He’s from Alton, the birthplace of jazz legend Miles Davis.

Now hiring: Social media manager

INFUZ is seeking a social media manager who understands that a “social” strategy is more than a Facebook page, YouTube channel and blog. You know that the social universe is constantly evolving and brands have to stay ahead of the curve. Our ideal candidate knows how to develop a long-term social strategy, create a communication plan and be able to execute much of it in collaboration with our team.

Idea generation is a must for our social media manager. A social strategy needs a well-balanced array of tactics that work in tandem with a brand’s overall marketing strategy. You have to be able to come to the table with great ideas that we can execute and are on target for the goals of our clients.

You will be cultivating new communities and managing online communities and content using a wide variety of existing and new media channels in order to develop brand awareness. You also will be creating content, as well as overseeing and implementing content we acquire or develop. As the frontline “voice” for our clients, you will be interacting with consumers in real time on various web platforms on a daily basis. This includes direct communications with agency partners who provide content and participate with our tactical executions.
